

Sports Technology Innovation Centre (STIC) is one of nine Centre of Excellence in Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). dedicated to advancing innovation, research, and development in sports technology. Officially established on 1 October 2025, STIC serves as the national hub under the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS)’s Pusat Kecemerlangan Industri Sukan Negara (PKISN) initiative, focusing on the pillar of “Sports Industry Based on Innovation.”

Drive interdisciplinary R&D combining mechanical, electronic, and data technologies for sports applications.
Serve as a testbed for prototype development, product validation, and performance analytics.
